KEDARKANTHA TREK You ask me why I trek?... Well, this way… Every time I go for a trek the mountains wash away my stress and disappointments of the week and sometimes even months, leaving me rejuvenated, mindful, and ready for anything. Every year I plan to start and end my year by traveling to a new place, it either starts with a trek or ends with the trek. So this year the plan was to go for the kedarkantha trek with none other than the craziest family ‘Audaciious hikerss’.   So the journey started on the 21 st of December from Pune, we boarded our train from Pune to Mumbai early in the morning reached Panvel station around 11am and then got to know the good news that our train is delayed by 4hrs at the beginning then it went on incre...

LIFE IS EITHER A DARING ADVENTURE OR NOTHING! There are many things that traveling and trekking teach you without asking for anything in return. I have always been the 'EXPERIENCE OVER MATERIALISM' kind of person even if that means taking a few risks ad braving a timid heart. In the process, I have scratched my knees while climbing mountains, hurt my nose while rolling down slopes, broken shoes while jumping across thorny bushes, drenched myself completely while drinking water from streams.  I have jumped into the water without knowing how to swim while doing the cliff jump in Rishikesh when I had been there for white water rafting indeed 10 peaceful days of my life I must say. I have slipped and fallen, I have risked and shaken but you know why the sprained ankles and bruised knees never complained?  Because they have seen how excited and thril...

Head Home. Study Dinner. Sleep. Repeat. Wake up. Head to college. Work. Head Home time out. Is this as  Good as it gets? What happened to live life to the fullest? Where is the daring adventure? That we dreamed about as a kid? Many of us have lost the passion for An adventure that filled our childhood. The problem is that in our age of technological revolution, we have written off adventure and exploration as things of the past, no longer necessary, thanks to our newfound, ever Evolving capabilities. What we need to realize is that it is not the discovery of new things that are important for the avera...

A day out in my city.

"A DAY OUT IN MY CITY" We all love to travel far and wide, get our passports stamped and take a lifetime of the ride but often reality hits our face in form of high flight tickets or no leaves or no permissions from our family members. We can't deny the times when our pockets are full of adventures but probably in short of a dime and in moments like these, we should take out our bags and wear our travel caps and be a tourist in our own city. These are some of my moments from my day in Pune where I took a city bus, traveled by rickshaw , explored random lanes, the peths, walked several miles, spent some peaceful time in the vishrambaugh Wada, found strangers with warm smiles, all along satisfying my eternal quest for adventures and filling my life with new stories and life long memories. Explored random streets of Pune, visited the exhibition held about the journey of Pune since the era of Shivaji Maharaj. Watching the daily chaos and different people passing by was the ...
