"A DAY OUT IN MY CITY"
We all love to travel far and wide, get our passports stamped and take a lifetime of the ride but often reality hits our face in form of high flight tickets or no leaves or no permissions from our family members. We can't deny the times when our pockets are full of adventures but probably in short of a dime and in moments like these, we should take out our bags and wear our travel caps and be a tourist in our own city. These are some of my moments from my day in Pune where I took a city bus, traveled by rickshaw , explored random lanes, the peths, walked several miles, spent some peaceful time in the vishrambaugh Wada, found strangers with warm smiles, all along satisfying my eternal quest for adventures and filling my life with new stories and life long memories. Explored random streets of Pune, visited the exhibition held about the journey of Pune since the era of Shivaji Maharaj.
Watching the daily chaos and different people passing by was the best of all.

The Kashmiri carpet is known for its speciality of being handmade and similarly, it is knotted and not tufted.   Gulmarg:- “Meadow of flowers”. Gulmarg is located 60 KMs away from Srinagar which is an hour and half journey by car. One of the main attractions in Gulmarg is the Gulmarg Gondola, the Highest Cable Car in the world. The 1st phase of the Gondola takes us to the height of 8530 ft to Kongdori Station and the second stage of the Gondola goes up to the height of 12293 ft. We can enjoy horse Riding and can go riding to the magnificent “Strawberry Valley”, Leopards Valley and ride up to “Kongdori” to see the frozen lake of “Al- Pathar”.  Gulmarg in winter is a magnificent experience, fully covered in a white blanket of Snow which turns it into a skiers paradise.
