  At a distance of 17 km from Bhandardara, Amruteshwar Temple is an ancient Shiva temple situated on the banks of the holy river Pravara at Ratanwadi village in the Igatpuri region of Maharashtra. It is among the popular Bhandardara tourist places and is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered to be over 1,200 years old. This beautiful stone carved temple was built by the rulers of the Shilahara dynasty in the 9th century AD. This is one of 12 Shiva temples built by King Jhanj. Ratangad Fort is also located at a close distance from this Shiva temple. The Amruteshwar Temple has been constructed in Hemadpanthi architectural style with beautiful rock carvings on the main shrine. It was built with black and red stones.   Gulmarg:- “Meadow of flowers”. Gulmarg is located 60 KMs away from Srinagar which is an hour and half journey by car. One of the main attractions in Gulmarg is the Gulmarg Gondola, the Highest Cable Car in the world. The 1st phase of the Gondola takes us to the height of 8530 ft to Kongdori Station and the second stage of the Gondola goes up to the height of 12293 ft. We can enjoy horse Riding and can go riding to the magnificent “Strawberry Valley”, Leopards Valley and ride up to “Kongdori” to see the frozen lake of “Al- Pathar”.  Gulmarg in winter is a magnificent experience, fully covered in a white blanket of Snow which turns it into a skiers paradise.   The mountains are something that let me keep going and never stop me. I know they are dangerous, but what is life if you have never been out of your comfort zone. The mountains are calm, loud, peace; basically, they are something that changes colour each and every second. They are unpredictable and full of surprises and this is real happiness. There are many things that travelling and trekking teach you, without asking for anything in return. I have always been the "experiences over materialism " kind of a girl even if that means taking a few risks and braving a timid heart. In the process, I have scratched my knees while climbing mountains, hurt my nose while rolling down slopes, broken shoes while jumping across thorny bushes, drenched myself completely while drinking water from the streams. I have jumped into the water without knowing how to swim, I've slipped and fallen, I've risked and shaken but you know why the sprained ankles and bruised knees never complain...
